On December 27, 2024, the SLMQ successfully hosted its much-anticipated Family Gathering and the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2024. The event brought together members and their families for a day of camaraderie, reflection, and shared vision for the future.
The event began with engaging family-oriented activities, games for children, and an opportunity for members to reconnect and network.
The formal AGM session followed, providing an update on projects and achievements in 2024, in Qatar and Sri Lanka. The exco team presented financial reports and highlighted key milestones for the year. Members actively participated in discussions, underscoring their commitment to SLMQ’s vision and goals.
The new Executive Committee for the upcoming term (2025) was elected as part of the AGM proceedings. This team will steer SLMQ’s activities and initiatives, ensuring its mission of serving the community remains steadfast and impactful in the coming year.
The event concluded with a shared meal, embodying the warmth and unity that define the SLMQ spirit.
