School Development Support 2013 – Sri Lanka

Stafford School – Avurudu Pola SLMQ took part in the Avurudu Pola 2013. 25% of the sale proceeds were donated to School
Development Fund while the rest of the collections from this Avurudu Pola will be used for a refurbishment and renovation of rural hospital in Sri Lanka.
In addition, the SLMQ members’ children and families took part in a special kid’s zone activity and contributed 50% of collections for the School Development Fund and the rest to the Hospital project. This project is still ongoing and more funds are being sought to complete the project. The Project will eventually cost approximately QR 95,000 at completion.
