On Friday, 3rd October 2025, the Sri Lankan Majlis Qatar (SLMQ) organised an Environmental Cleanup Drive at the iconic Singing Sand Dunes. The event brought together families, volunteers, and children in a collective effort to preserve one of Qatar’s natural landmarks.
This initiative was designed not only as a community service activity but also as an opportunity to instil environmental awareness and responsibility in our younger generation. Participants joined hands to clean the surrounding areas, demonstrating unity, care for the environment, and a commitment to maintaining a sustainable and beautiful landscape.
