Sri Lankan Majlis Qatar (SLMQ) donated over four hundred and fifty (450) finger clip oximeters to the State Ministry of Primary Health Services, Pandemics, and Covid-19 prevention on the 3rd of August 2021. Mr. Mohamed Ziyam – one of the founders of SLMQ, Mr. Muheed Jeeran – International Human Rights Activist, and Mr. Ramzi Azeez integrated the project.
The Secretary to the State Ministry – Ms. Sunethra Gunawardena, Deputy Director General of Biomedical Engineering Services Eng. – S.A.J. Karunathilake, and Private Secretary to the state minister – Mr. Viran Fernandopulle was also present. The State Ministry will allot the Pulse Oximeters to the hospitals and other healthcare institutions selected by SLMQ throughout Sri Lanka.
