Covid-19 PPE Kits projects in Sri Lanka

Sri Lankan Majlis – Qatar (SLMQ) donated 800 PPE kits to the doctors, nurses, and health service professionals in IDH hospital who fought the Covid-19 pandemic. The PPE kits included (100) wraparound gowns and 100 Head/Hood covers as a token of appreciation to the healthcare staff. SLMQ made a formal request to send their donation to the frontline healthcare professionals of IDH, Sri Lanka. On 27th April 2020, at an event held at the Ministry of Health, the Ministry Secretary Ms. Badrani Jayawardane, received the donation from Dr. Anas Majeed (a former office-bearer of SLMQ) and Mr. Ramzeen Azeez (Father of and SLMQ member Dr. Ahamed Faidh) on behalf of SLMQ.
